Why do we need to know Cost function for Logistic regression?
1. Cost function for Logistic regression
The cost function of the neural network will be a generalization of the one for logistic regression.
2. Cost function for Neural network
But we have to keep in mind the distinct difference. Logistic regression has one output unit, Whereas the Neural network has K output units.
Also, we do not sum bias terms as we did for the regularization of Logistic regression.
